Q1. It is almost the end of this season, can you talk about what was your original goal this year and do you think you achieve that?

A1. Fu-Lin Kuo(Kuo):I was hoping I can play at least 40 games this year. However, because the injury at the ankle at the beginning of the season and also the minor discomfort at my knee during August, I only play about 35 games this year. I hope next year I can achieve the 40-game target.



Q2.How do you feel right now about your injuries?

A2. Kuo:I am totally ok right now but I know I have to try harder to earn my position in the team.


Q3. What is the biggest difference you think between games in the Rookie League and those in the Short A league?

A3. Kuo:The most obvious difference is more off-speed pitches. The pitcher is much smarter here and knows their stuff better. So as a batter, you need to be more patient.



Q4. If you cannot continuously play games, how will the manager knows your capability and your contribution to the team?

A4. Kuo:I think the personal records are not that important when they evaluate my performance. I believe our manager will put more attentions on my achievement when the team needs me. The most easy example is the batting average while people on bases.



Q5. The last series is with Connecticut Tigers where Taiwanese pitcher Lo is in that team, have you met him in a game before?

A5. Kuo: I only met him when both of us were still in high school back to Taiwan, but never in the same game with him here in the US.



Q6. Is there something you want to say to the fans?

A6. Kuo:I hope more fans, especially Taiwanese fans can come to the ballpark and cheer for us. This is a very nice ballpark where you can see the skyline of the downtown Manhattan. And it is very convenient to get here where you only need to take the subway and the free ferry. The ballpark is right next to the port. When I had a day off, I also took the ferry to the city with my teammates. If there would be other Taiwanese players playing in this level next year, please come visiting the ballpark and enjoy the game.
